The Year 13 had their leaving assembly and I took part by taking photos of the assembly.
It's really sad to see them leave and also posed a great thing for me to ponder about, just over a span of a few months i will see myself up their, in their positions, crying and hugging each other to say good bye as they stepped out into the cold, cruel world of reality.
Its emotionally challenging to take pictures of such things.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors
Like the name suggests! Guess what happened?
In the earlier days of TERM II, Master Scuba Diver Fraser paid a visit to ISB to encourage us already-ever-so-green students of ISB to further their anti-"anti-earth" campaign under the sea
(take it from me!) lol.
In the watery depths of the vast seven seas is where us amphibian divers will clean the world up, while our landwalker counterparts slowly scrub up the beaches.
Our scuba diving team (Codenamed: SIR CANTERFORD TEAM) consists of only 7 members, 6 of which are IB students from ISB.
The training began on a sunny Saturday of the third month. Prior to the dives we were made to study and know by heart facts about diving from a 300 page textbook which I found heavy enough
to act as a paper clamp on my desk.
The dives were, well in one word, awesome.
We began with the basics of diving, putting together our equipment and learning to put them on.
Unbelievable as it seems, the dive equipment was even heavier than the textbook, even more so, far outstripping even my own legendary mega-weighted school bag.
But once submerged, the equipment did not feel heavy at all. If anything, it would be reason why we could float when we needed to.
Confined water dives are done in the swimming pool, and there we learn basic safety and emergency procedures and learn techniques of scuba diving.
Open water dives, are done at sea, and is where we have fun. =D

We also paid Mr. Nemo and his dad a visit! =D
They are doing fine, they say thanks.

I'm still considering a lawsuit.

The staircase painting! Be patient.
Indeed, i have very interesting photos to post, but untill I find a way to compress their sizes,
I won't be able to post them yet. Each photo is 3mb, about the same size as a decent quality 3 minute song.

Mount KK Training
Oh yes, it was tough.
It was like Temburong all over again.
The sweat, the heat, the soil, grass and trees. Only, this time there was an occasional breeze.
Ms. Hancox and Mr. Grieve (is that how we spell his name?) was in charge of this CAS activity and we marched across the trail in an attempt to raise our stamina.
All it raised for me is the number of blisters on my feet, though.

Toddler Group
Toddler Groups are held every Wednesday afternoons at 3 o'clock to about 5.
It is a really fun time, where all helpers wear a bright red to help the little toddlers recognize the helpers. (Or play partners, for our main job is to play with them.
There is only one boy who's name I remember (thats an astonishing feat, since I can barely remember names of people I don't know personally. And he is Daniel.
With a great sunshine-like smile and the energy of a radiant star he would be playing tirelessy with toys, digging enthusiastically in the sandbox (his favorite sand project is a mountain as tall as his chest) and loves to run his huge monster truck over it.
He is a fast cyclist to, always zooming down the "runway". (while me and Brittany worriedly shooes the kids and parents in his way out of the way.)
He is the first and only kid I managed to play with since I practically nil experience with little children.
I look forward to this Wednesday's Toddler Group again.
