Autism Group

There were some children who were brought from Learning Ladder to ISB for during Friday where we would play with the children at the ISB playground. Playing with these kids were not different with playing with others, we would play on the slide, climb on the ladder and hang from the handles, but the only things were that they did not take to us very quickly and we had to spend more time with them until they felt like they could trust us. Some would even reject playing with some of us because they did not know us.

Even though at times, we needed to do more to catch their attention, the kids were really awesome and very active. We only spend a short time with the kids but I had a great deal of fun playing with them and i enjoyed the whole time I spent with them.

International Day

International Day was very enjoyable because we saw many things of other cultures like outfits, food, sports and such. There were a lot of stalls selling foods of all kind and were delicious as well. All the students were wearing their traditional outfits and some even explore other culture's traditional outfit. The classrooms were decorated with themes of different countries with the countries' flags, national animals and colors.

Everyone enjoyed the great chance of exploring their own and other's cultures on International Day.

I have many many beautiful pictures to show you!!! but I also have tried to upload the photos, but they wouldn't go up. I shall put them up through an image hosting website asap. I apologize.

ISB interhouse Basketball Matches

ISB has 3 different houses with the colors of blue, red and yellow.

Then to increase the competition of the houses, a basketball tournament was organised. How original!

It was very different because some of my friends were in different houses and so I was teamed with a different group of friends, this really make it more challenging because we were not used to each other so it took us a while to get the hang of being a team but after a bit our teamwork grew stronger as we played and it make me feel very accomplished of the teamwork I was able to build with my other friends.

The teamwork effort i found most valuable in myself was staying out of the way while the better players did their part. =D

Badminton

I joined badminton that a few Year 13 organised. We play at an indoor court at one of the hotels in Brunei and it was quite stuffy but that make all of us sweat like crazy, felt good after a good exercise.

Badminton was more tiring than I thought, well maybe not as tiring as KK training, but almost there. But some photos of us playing badminton while drenched in sweat.
